the Spring Festival at Maplewood. This year's theme - Barbeque and Blue Grass From 10am - 4pm. Bring a friend!! Barbeque by the Hargis' of Garrison B&B Blue Grass by 'Salt Grass'
Our hours of operation are:
8:00 am 'til 5 pm Mondays through Saturdays. On Sundays - give us a call before you come out. Maplewood Gardens Nursery and Garden Center has everything you could possibly need or want for your garden and your yard. In addition to trees, plants and so many beautiful flowers, we now have custom designed pools and fountains. See some of our stock right here online. But you really need to come by, visit and see for yourself. You're gonna' love this. While you're here, be sure and ........ APRIL .... Mark April 26th on your calendar and come to the Spring Festival at Maplewood.
Toward the end of month, allow house plants to "leave home" and vacation on your porch, patio or breezeway. A change of scenery benefits everything! Fertilize acid-loving plants like azaleas, camellias and rhodies with 12-4-8. Do not prune these and other Spring Flowering shrubs until after flowering. Weed, Edge, Remulch Perennial borders, then fertilize. After the risk of frost has passed, (usually 4/15), fill in vacant spots with summer blooming annuals. Spray roses - except Rugosas. |
